Dr. Marcin Bela (B.M. New England Conservatory, D.M.A. University of Michigan) is a composer, pianist, producer and educator. His music has been heard around the globe and across the spectrum of genre and style. His classical works have been performed by orchestras and ensembles at major concert halls in New York, Boston, Tanglewood, Detroit, Raleigh, Stuttgart, Warsaw and Krakow, and won international awards.
As an Electronic Dance Music composer and keyboardist, Bela has performed at numerous Bass Music festivals and shared stages with top DJ’s in the field, including Ott, Gaudi, Kalya Scintilla, Desert Dwellers, Kaminanda and Govinda. He also scored a cirque nouveau production “Tarocco: A Soldier’s Tale”, which premiered in Asheville, NC and toured nationally through 2016.
As a teacher and producer, Dr. Bela has helped hundreds of young musicians find their artistic voice. He teaches professionals and enthusiasts of all ages and stylistic directions, from Classical and Jazz to Hip-Hop, Metal and Bollywood. Studio recordings produced by Marcin Bela (featuring such artists as Chancellor Warhol, Fyutch and Mikky Ekko) have been licensed by television shows on HBO, VH1 and MTV.
